You will need to create your personal profile to use the career evaluator™, which you can update at any time through the Profile tab. Once you have created your profile you can begin the self-assessment, which takes around 30 minutes to complete.
Try to complete your assessment in one sitting. Select any one of seven areas of competency from the dashboard (use the Home tab to return to the dashboard). To complete the assessment, you will need to complete all seven areas of competency. A blue dot will appear in the top right-hand corner of each area of competency as you complete it.
You will be asked to use a set of criteria to indicate your self-assessment of knowledge and skill against each area. The criteria can be found on the first page of each of the seven areas of competency.
Upon completion, you will receive an overview of your self-assessment scores, and you will be able to download a full PDF report of your self-assessment mapped against the competencies and descriptors.
Discuss your results with your manager, mentor or a trusted colleague. You may also find it helpful to ask your manager or colleagues to complete the assessment and rate you against some or all of the competencies. Coming together and comparing their ratings with your self-ratings can provide valuable insight into your level of competency.
